I am a wife to a wonderful husband who works very hard for me to stay at home and teach our three beautiful daughters. We have two bunnies and a black lab who keeps us on our toes.
I was once an official career woman (though my current career as a homemaker is of utmost importance - I dislike saying 'once' - perhaps not the best use of words but you get the jist?). My background is in Business Marketing. I once said I would never marry, never have children and never stay home. I had thoughts of becoming a lawyer and being famous. How funny is that! I am so thankful the Lord changed my ideas! I am blessed to be at home.
Some of the things I enjoy most, in no particular order:
being with hubby, cooking, cleaning (yes I do enjoy cleaning), candles, reading my bible, praying, seeing plays, knitting (I'm teaching myself slowly), reading to my children, making our house into a home, baking bread, finding good deals, making lists, working in the garden, wearing my flip flops, hiking, running, walking and snow shoeing, biking, coffee, tea, hearing my children giggle, babies, petunas, mammoth sunflowers, hymns, old books and much more. I think it would be fun to own a cottage or log home some day. Running a Bed and Breakfast sounds lovely. I think I'd love owning a farm...though never have so I won't speak without experience.
I hope you enjoy visiting my blog. My desire is to encourage. I do not have it all together in fact I'm rotten on occasion and fail to get things accomplished each and every day...you can ask my family. With God's help I hope to improve a bit day by day and become more like Christ who is my best friend!!
