Short Days...

There is something extra special about short days.  I enjoy the cool, crisp days with the beautiful blue skies and puffy white clouds.  I delight in the after dinner sounds and sights.  I absolutely love my home in the evening or early morning when it is dim with little lights and candles burning.  Yesterday evening this was the case plus I had a daughter playing Christmas piano music while another was listening to Oboe Concerto on Pandora.  The music was a delight to me!  It felt so calming.

Then the wii came on and those feelings LEFT! :)

I am certain there will be many beautiful sounds in our home today -

• Girls giggling
• Piano Christmas music
• Pandora soft music
• Dog barking
• Dishes clanking
• Wii
• More Piano music
• Washing Machine
• Water running
• Running foot steps
• Belly laughs
• Scripture reading
• And maybe some complaining or perhaps debating....let's be real here. :)
• Prayers from children
• And I musn't forget the on-going sound of hamster wheels!

I thank you Lord for blessing our little family!  We are truly more than blessed!  THANK YOU, LORD.
