When I was younger (I think I was 12ish) I attended Missionettes at an Assembly of God church. This is a Wednesday night class for girls. I had a very PATIENT Missionettes teacher. I recall my Mom making us go so, sadly, I was only there because I had to be. I remember one Wednesday night actually getting up on the table, doing a quick dance, then jumping down. I enjoyed the extra attention from all of the girls laughter and I think I even enjoyed the teacher reacting to it all. Shame on me!!! I should look up my teachers name and apologize to her. I bet she was frustrated with me! How she must have disliked it when I showed up for class.
On another occasion my girlfriend and I even skipped Missionettes. I'm sure it was MY IDEA! We snuck out of the church, walked to a local ice cream shop, bought ice cream and returned in time for our ride home.
My parents never found out but my friends father immediately asked "'Why weren't you girls in church tonight?" To this day we do not know how he knew we left church. He doesn't recall either so it shall never be known.
All of this to say God was working in my life even when it appeared nothing was sinking in. I am so thankful my teachers still loved me and didn't give up on me. I remember reading my bible, praying and trying to do good. So thankful God uses us all right where we are at!
Psalm 138:8 The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me! (this is my favorite verse)

I think you should try that at Pearls. Dancing on the table, that is...
