Ephesians 2:10

Ephesians 2:10 We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.

God has been putting some neat bits of wisdom in front of me.  I am reading The Mom Walk by Sally Clarkson.  I am also listening to a Chris Davis' seminar titled "When Mothers Teach Resistant Sons & Daughters".  In addition to this I received info for a free Mark Hamby webinar tonight titled Do you Own Sheep or Do you Shepard? (you can sign up too).

Funny how the Lord works!  I had ZERO intentions of spending my time focusing on 'parent self help' but the Lord knew I needed a 'kick in the butt'. :)

It's neat to know that our children are a gift from God.  He created them for good works.  It's our job to help the Lord raise HIS children.  I am excited to see what my children's future holds.  God says He created them knowing His goal for them now and in the future.  If I truly believe that am I parenting in that way?
